After experiencing heartbreak through divorce she decided to do a project on love, the rawness of heartbreak, and healing. It is her first Neo soul project however it is infused with hip hop, r&b, rap, as well as spoken word. You will feel the emotion of falling in love and the emotional rollercoaster through the breakup. As an advocate of healing she wanted to dedicate this project to her evolution. It may not be labeled "gospel" however, you will feel healing through each track. 

 

 

Musical Bio 

Jessica Wilson is a Contemporary Gospel Indie artist whose sound is soulful, fresh, upbeat, and is southern grown. She resides in the Atlanta, GA by way of the Civil Rights Capital, Montgomery Al. She was coined a "Diva of Atlanta" when she was featured on the Divas of Atlanta neo soul artist showcase. She has the opportunity of singing with the Cly N Tel Band in Atlanta as well.

She is a DMM award winning artist that is a very strong praise and worship leader, however she also has a heart for contemporary gospel and brings a flavor that cannot truly be labeled.  She has beautifully blended the anointing of praise and worship, contemporary gospel, neo soul, jazz, and smooth vocals into a Kingdom sound. Influenced by musical greats such as the, Lisa McClendon and Chrisette Michele just to name a few in both gospel and secular arenas. She is also known from the gospel group One Voice, which has been nominated for an Alabama Gospel Hip Hop Award for best contemporary rhythm and praise album. She has been featured on TBN's Praise the Lord broadcast, Conversation with Carol, and was featured in WOW magazine. She opened up for Gospel Dream winner Benita Washington, Meka King, Stellar Award Nominee Nova 4 Jehovah, Dove Award Nominee Luther Barnes, Christian group Jubal's Kin, Aeneas Koresh, DJ Wheel, King Wes, Big Prophet, the Shei Band, Terrell Carter and Euclid Gray. She also opened up for the Sisterbations Gospel Celebration which Kierra Sheard & Karen Clark Sheard were on program.
